We’ve all heard how important it is to use sunscreen –not only at the beach, but in daily life. Sunscreen helps prevent wrinkling and skin cancer. But a new study reveals that the most popular sunscreens are not only ineffective, but are actually harmful to consumers. After testing over 1,000 different sunscreens, the Environmental Working Group concluded that four out of five brand-name sunscreens either fail to adequately protect consumers or contain chemicals that may pose health hazards.
