U.S. Olympic swimmer Eric Shanteau has been diagnosed with testicular cancer. Sadly, Shanteau, 24, learned of his condition only a week before the Olympic trials were held in early July. Shanteau will soon be heading to the Olympic Games in Beijing, China, which are set to begin August 8. Read more.

Ethan Hawke married pregnant girlfiend Ryan Shawhughes in a quickie ceremony, a rep for the actor confirms. She had previously been nanny to Hawke’s children with ex-wife Uma Thurman.
